# Introduction to the AI Experience Builder

> Use Agentsy's AI-powered builders to prepare your assistant's instructions, knowledge checklist, website copy, and branding before launching.

You don't need to start with a blank page or know how to write complex AI instructions. The **Agentsy AI Experience Builder** helps consultants, coaches, and experts turn their knowledge into the foundations of a branded, interactive AI Experience.

Start at **[Build Your AI](https://www.agentsy.pro/build-your-ai)**. The page provides two guided prompts you can use with ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or another AI assistant.

The process is simple: **prepare your assistant → prepare your website → bring both into Agentsy**.

> The builders help you **prepare content and configuration**. They don't automatically create your Agentsy account, upload your knowledge documents, or publish your website.

## How the two builders work together

### Step 1: AI Experience Builder

Open [Build Your AI](https://www.agentsy.pro/build-your-ai) and begin with the **AI Experience Builder** prompt.

1. Copy the prompt from the page.
2. Paste it into your preferred AI assistant.
3. Explain what you do and answer any questions it asks about your expertise, audience, and approach.
4. Review and refine the results until they accurately represent your work.

If you've already discussed your business with that AI assistant, its existing context may help you get started. You should still verify its assumptions.

**You'll prepare two main outputs:**

| **System Instructions** | Define the assistant's identity, purpose, conversational behavior, boundaries, and approach to human handoff. |
| **Knowledge Sources Checklist** | Identify the documents, FAQs, frameworks, and other materials to make available to your assistant. |

> You don't need every document ready before using the Builder. The checklist helps you see what's available, what's missing, and what to prepare next.

### Step 2: Experience Page Builder

Return to [Build Your AI](https://www.agentsy.pro/build-your-ai) and continue to **Step 2 — Build Your Experience**.

1. Copy the **Experience Page Builder** prompt.
2. Use it with the System Instructions created in Step 1.
3. Review the proposed website messaging and visual direction.
4. Adjust the results to match your voice and brand.

This builder helps prepare:

* A headline and introduction for your branded AI website.
* Messaging that explains who the experience helps and why it's useful.
* Supporting content that encourages visitors to interact with your expertise.
* Suggested brand colors and visual direction.

The goal is to help visitors understand **what they can explore through your AI Experience**, not simply announce that you've built a chatbot.

### Step 3: Bring your experience into Agentsy

Once you have reviewed the outputs:

1. [Create your Agentsy account](/getting-started/create-your-account) or sign in.
2. Add the generated **System Instructions** to your AI Experience.
3. Use the **Knowledge Sources Checklist** to select and upload your actual source documents.
4. Apply the website copy, colors, and other branding recommendations.
5. Configure the available visitor access settings and any appropriate human next step.
6. Test the experience before sharing it.

> The Knowledge Sources Checklist is **not** an uploaded knowledge base. Your AI can only use documents and other sources that are actually made available through supported Agentsy features. Review materials for accuracy, confidentiality, and permission to use them.

## Who should use the builders?

The process is designed for people who have valuable expertise but don't want to begin by writing technical AI configurations themselves.

## Example: From expertise to an interactive experience

Imagine a consultant whose website explains their services but gives visitors little opportunity to experience how they think.

With the **AI Experience Builder**, they can prepare instructions for an assistant that explains their methodology, asks useful clarifying questions, and recognizes when a visitor is ready for a human conversation.

With the **Experience Page Builder**, they can prepare website messaging that invites prospects to explore that methodology firsthand.

In **Agentsy**, they combine the instructions, approved knowledge documents, and branded website into an experience they can test and share.

The AI doesn't replace the consultant. It helps visitors understand the consultant's expertise before deciding whether to connect.

## What do you need before starting?

**Very little.** Choose the AI assistant you want to work with and open [Build Your AI](https://www.agentsy.pro/build-your-ai). You can begin even if you haven't prepared any documents.

For a smoother experience:

1. **Use an AI assistant that already knows your work, if possible.** An existing conversation may contain useful context about your expertise, services, or methodology.
2. **Otherwise, introduce yourself in a few sentences.** Explain what you do and who you help. You don't need to write a formal business brief.
3. **Let the Builder guide the conversation.** Answer its questions, correct any inaccurate assumptions, and refine the results together.

The Builder helps you work out what belongs in your System Instructions and **generates a Knowledge Sources Checklist** so you know what materials to gather afterward.

> Don't delay starting because you haven't collected your articles, presentations, FAQs, or other documents. The Builder will help identify which sources would add value to your AI Experience.

### What if your AI assistant doesn't know you yet?

That's fine. Start with a simple introduction, such as: "I'm a leadership coach who helps first-time managers communicate better and lead their teams." The Builder can then ask for the context it needs.

You remain responsible for reviewing the generated instructions and checking that they accurately represent your work.
