# Payments and Invoices

Your Agentsy subscription helps keep your AI Experience available to visitors. This guide explains where to review billing information, how to access payment records, and what to do when a charge or invoice needs attention.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Available billing controls can depend on your subscription and account configuration. If a setting described below is not visible, contact Agentsy support rather than assuming your account has the same options as another organization.

## Understand how subscription billing works

Agentsy uses Stripe to process subscription payments. Your subscription may renew on a recurring billing cycle according to the plan and terms you accepted.

| Term | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Subscription** | The recurring plan associated with your Agentsy account or organization. |
| **Billing cycle** | The period for which a subscription charge applies. |
| **Payment method** | The card or other supported method used to pay subscription charges. |
| **Invoice** | A record of an amount billed, including applicable taxes, discounts, and payment status. |
| **Receipt** | Confirmation of a payment, when available. |
| **Coupon or promotion** | A discount applied according to its eligibility, duration, and terms. |

Your exact price, billing currency, renewal date, and any discount should be checked against your current subscription details or invoice.

## Review your subscription and billing details

1. Sign in to your Agentsy account.
2. Open your account or organization administration area.
3. Look for the available **Billing**, **Subscription**, or plan-management option.
4. Review the plan, renewal information, and any displayed payment status.
5. If a **Manage billing** or similar option is available, use it to access the supported Stripe billing-management experience.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Do not enter payment-card details into an AI conversation or upload them as knowledge documents. Use only the designated secure payment interface.

If you cannot find billing controls, verify that you are signed into the correct organization and have the appropriate administrative access. See [Members and Permissions](/account-and-organization/members-and-permissions).

## Update a payment method

If your account provides access to a payment-management portal:

1. Open the billing-management option from Agentsy.
2. Locate the payment-method section.
3. Add or update your payment method using the secure form provided.
4. Save or confirm the change, if prompted.
5. Return to the subscription overview to verify that the updated method appears.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Updating a payment method does not necessarily retry an outstanding invoice immediately. Check the invoice's payment status separately, and follow any available payment instructions.

If payment-method changes are not available through your account, request help from Agentsy support. Never send full card numbers or security codes by email or chat.

## Find and download invoices

Invoices help you reconcile payments, review discounts, and keep accounting records.

1. Open the billing or subscription-management area available to your account.
2. Look for **Invoices**, **Billing history**, or **Payment history**.
3. Select the relevant billing period.
4. Open the invoice to check its amount, currency, tax information, discounts, and status.
5. Download the invoice or receipt if a download option is provided.

You may also receive billing-related emails from the payment processor or Agentsy, depending on your subscription setup.

> [!TIP]
>
> For bookkeeping, save invoices using a consistent naming convention, such as `agentsy-2026-10.pdf`, and keep them with your organization's other subscription expenses.

## Understand common invoice statuses

| Status | What to check |
| - | - |
| **Paid** | The invoice shows payment was successfully recorded. |
| **Open or unpaid** | Payment may still be required; review any payment link or instructions. |
| **Payment failed** | Check the payment method and any instructions from your bank or payment processor. |
| **Draft** | The invoice may not yet be finalized; it should not be treated as a completed charge. |
| **Voided or credited** | Review the invoice and any related credit note to understand the adjustment. |

The wording of invoice statuses may vary in the billing interface.

## Understand taxes, discounts, and invoice totals

Your invoice total can differ from a plan's advertised base price because of taxes, promotional discounts, credits, or other terms that apply to your subscription.

Before reporting a discrepancy, compare:

* The plan and billing period shown on the invoice.
* The billing currency and applicable taxes.
* Any coupon, promotion, or credit displayed.
* The payment status and date.
* Any recent subscription change.

For discount-related questions, see [Coupons and Promotions](/billing-and-plans/coupons-and-promotions). For plan changes, see [Upgrade or Downgrade](/billing-and-plans/upgrade-or-downgrade).

## Troubleshoot a failed payment

A payment can fail for several reasons, including an expired card, insufficient funds, bank authorization requirements, or outdated billing information.

Try the following:

1. Check whether the payment method is current and supported.
2. Review any payment failure message in the billing interface.
3. Confirm with your bank whether additional authorization is required.
4. Update the payment method through the secure billing interface, if available.
5. Review the outstanding invoice for any supported payment or retry option.
6. Contact Agentsy support if the payment remains unresolved.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Do not assume that a failed payment immediately cancels your subscription or that service will continue indefinitely. Account behavior depends on the applicable billing configuration and subscription terms.

For additional guidance, see [Billing Problems](/troubleshooting-and-support/billing-problems).

## What if you cannot find an invoice?

First, confirm that you are viewing the correct Agentsy account and organization. Then check the relevant billing period and any billing-related emails.

If the invoice is still missing, contact support with:

* Your organization or account name.
* The email address associated with billing.
* The approximate invoice date or billing period.
* A brief description of what you need.

Do **not** share full card numbers, card security codes, or passwords.

## What if a charge looks incorrect?

Compare the charge against your invoice and subscription history. A renewal, plan change, expired discount, or applicable tax may explain the difference.

If the amount still appears incorrect, contact Agentsy support and include the charge date, currency, amount, and invoice number if available. Avoid including sensitive payment credentials.

> [!NOTE]
>
> A billing inquiry does not automatically initiate a refund. Any refund or adjustment is subject to the applicable terms and review process.
