Upgrade or downgrade your plan
Your Agentsy subscription should fit the activity of your AI Experience. As your audience grows, you may need a higher message allowance. If usage decreases, a smaller plan may be a better fit. This guide explains how to evaluate a plan change, review the available billing options, and confirm that the change has been applied.Available plans, prices, allowances, and subscription-management controls may change. Refer to the plans and billing options displayed in your Agentsy account for the terms that apply to you.
When to upgrade
Consider upgrading when:- Your AI Experience is receiving more conversations than expected.
- Your message usage is consistently approaching your plan allowance.
- You are preparing for a launch, campaign, or event that may increase traffic.
- You want additional capacity for multiple active audiences or use cases.
When to downgrade
A lower-capacity plan may make sense when:- Your recent usage is consistently below your current allowance.
- A temporary campaign or pilot has ended.
- You are operating a smaller or seasonal AI Experience.
- You want to reduce recurring costs while continuing to serve visitors.
Compare your current usage with your needs
Review your current subscription and recent activity before selecting a plan.
For example, if your AI Experience typically uses 1,500 messages per billing period, a plan with a 2,000-message allowance may be suitable under normal conditions. If you are planning a major campaign, you may want additional headroom.

How to change your subscription
- Sign in to your Agentsy account.
- Open the available billing, subscription, or plan management area.
- Review your current plan and the available alternatives.
- Select the plan that fits your expected usage, if a self-service change option is available.
- Review the displayed price, billing terms, effective date, and any adjustment before confirming.
- Complete the change and check your updated subscription details.
Understand billing adjustments
Agentsy uses Stripe for subscription payment processing. Depending on your subscription configuration, changing plans may involve a billing adjustment.
These are possible billing behaviors, not guarantees. Always check the amount and effective date shown before confirming a change.
For payment history and invoices, see Payments and Invoices.
What happens to your AI Experience?
Changing a subscription plan is different from editing your AI Experience’s instructions, knowledge, branding, or website. However, a change in message capacity can affect how much activity your plan supports. Before moving to a smaller plan, review whether the new allowance will accommodate expected visitor conversations.Do not assume that unused messages carry over, that overages are automatically charged, or that service continues unchanged after a limit is reached. Check the specific terms of your current plan.
Confirm that your plan changed
After completing a change:- Check that the subscription area shows the intended plan.
- Review the displayed message allowance and billing period.
- Verify the effective date of the change.
- Review any updated invoice or payment confirmation, if applicable.
- Continue monitoring usage to confirm the new allowance suits your needs.
